Wildwood Memories: One year I was sitting on an abandoned Wildwood Crest beach. It was abandoned because hurricane Felix was a few hundred miles out in the Atlantic and was heading straight for the South Jersey shore. While everybody was sitting in line to evacuate the island (either by the toll bridge or across King Nummi's Trail) I was sitting calmly on the beach. It was really windy and if you smiled, you got free teeth cleaning! It turns out that Felix made a U-turn and headed away from Wildwood. That evening I rode every ride on the boardwalk in record time because everyone had left! WILDWOOD ROCKS!
